ANEX was founded in 2018 by a team of marketers and clinicians who were frustrated by the gap between agencies that understood marketing and agencies that understood medicine. We do both, and we don't apologize for either.

We are a small team — by design. The principles below are how we choose work, scope work, and decide when to walk away.
Evidence first.
If a claim isn't sourceable, it doesn't ship. Our medical writers sit upstream of creative — not after. Reference packs are built before headlines.
Specialty, not generalist.
We have not done a banking campaign. We will not. Cardiology, oncology, nephrology, women's health, pediatrics, public health — the bench is deep where it counts.
Fewer, larger.
We take on twelve to fifteen clients at a time. Every account has a partner-level lead. There is no junior-team-runs-the-account model here.

- UCPMP, IPA and OPPI guidelines applied by default. We pre-flight every campaign with our clients' MLR before a comp goes to creative review.

ANEX is founded in Mumbai.
Three founders, two clients, a single rented desk above a chemist in Andheri. The first engagement was a hospital network rebrand.
The studio opens.
Built in-house production — medical writing, design, motion. Stopped subcontracting creative. The first KOL engagement program launches for an oncology client.
Bengaluru office.
Opened a second office to be closer to the device and digital-health cluster. Headcount crosses 20.
APAC engagements.
First multi-market program, running across 11 countries for an APAC pharma client. Added regulatory advisors in two markets.
Today.
34 people. 14 active engagements. Seven of our top ten clients have been with us four years or longer.

Practicing internal medicine until 2018, now leads our medical writing and MLR liaison team. Oncology, neurology.

Studio lead. Builds and protects the creative bench. Identity, packaging, motion. Hospital networks, devices.

Channels, CRM, performance, measurement. Built the engagement-program template that now runs for six clients.

Runs the studio. Keeps the calendar honest, the briefs sharp, and the deliverables on time. Don't argue with her timelines.
